As I prayed this morning, I felt the Lord asking me to grab my pen and my specific journal – the white one with red polka dots. I grabbed my pen and journal and continued to pray. Then I felt that the Lord wanted me to write down the date, so I did. Then I heard Him tell me to look up the meaning of the date; the meaning of 24. Once I started reading the Christian and Hebrew meanings, I knew the Lord was speaking a prophetic word for the coming year.
The number 24 according to graceintorah.net means: a multiple of 12, heavenly government and worship, priesthood, watchmen, all parts working together in service to God.
The number 24 according to Bill Heidrick’s website means “hoped for”.
I also heard the Lord tell me to look up Psalm 24 and this is where the fun began. Here are verses 1, 7-10 in TPT.
1 Yahweh claims the world as his. Everything and everyone belong to him!
7 So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you. 8 You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, Yahweh, invincible in every way! 9 So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you eternal doors! Here he comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in. 10 You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” He is Yahweh, armed and ready for battle,

When verse 7 speaks of doorways of eternity, that is speaking of us. We are the ones through which God’s presence enters the earth. Once God opens eternity within us, no one can shut that door.
Again, in verse 7, when we are told to lift up our heads, we are being called out as bold and confident which brings joy and hope to us and everyone who is connected with our lives.
In verse 10, we read about heaven’s hosts – these are the forces or army that the Lord Jesus commands.
This is what I hear God’s Spirit saying: Not only is the Mighty One coming, but He is also bringing His army of heaven with Him. Prepare yourselves for a visitation of the army of heaven. He is coming, riding with strength and authority. Our prayers have been heard and He is about to release the answers.
Do not be found in fear – be filled with hope at the coming of the Lord.
The Lord is mighty – the great King who rules over all the earth. He is coming to shake both the heavens and the earth. Prepare yourselves for the shaking by being found in Christ. Be rooted and grounded in Him. He is your strength and your stability.
He will not fail – the battle and the victory belong to the Lord.
